Make a passport size photo: 35 × 45 mm for India, the UK and Europe, or 2 × 2 inches for the US.

The standard passport photo in India, the UK, the Schengen area and many other countries is 35 × 45 mm. The US uses 2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm). This tool crops your photo from the centre to the right shape and sets it to 300 DPI for printing.

For a good result, start with a photo against a plain light background with your face centred. Use the crop tool first with the "Passport 3.5:4.5" ratio if you want to choose the framing yourself.
